Copa Airlines begins new service to the Carribbean Island of St. Maarten/St. Martin

copa airlinesCopa Airlines begins twice-weekly flights between Panama and connecting cities to the Caribbean island of St. Maarten in the Lesser Antilles.

Copa Airlines serves more destinations in the Caribbean from Latin America than any other airline.

The new flight departs Panama at 12:22 p.m. on Tuesdays and Saturdays, arriving in St. Maarten at 4:17 p.m. The return flight departs on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. and arrives in Panama at 7:44 p.m.

 

Government and tourism authorities from Panama and St. Maarten attended a ceremony at Tocumen International Airport in Panama City to inaugurate the new flight.


Copa Airlines' new flight to St. Maarten also will facilitate tourist travel from Latin America to neighboring islands such as St. Barth, Anguilla, Saba, Sint Eustatius, Antigua, Barbuda, Saint Kitts and Nevis. St. Maarten, shared by the Netherlands (Sint Marteen) and France (Saint Martin), offers more than 37 beaches considered among the best in the world, colonial architecture, exquisite cuisine and festive nightlife.
